Rotation that sticks, and mirroring
Turning an image in a viewer only changes how it displays. This tool re-draws the pixels: a 90-degree turn produces a genuine portrait file, and every app, upload form and printer sees it the new way without asking. 180 degrees fixes upside-down scans in one pass; 270 turns the other way.
Mirroring runs after the rotation: horizontal flips a photo into its reflection (useful for Product shots that face the wrong way), vertical creates the upside-down reflection for water-reflection effects. Both apply to every file in the batch identically.
The pixels are re-drawn with high-quality smoothing; text edges and fine lines stay crisp. EXIF orientation is honoured on the way in, so phone photos never come out sideways.
Limits and honest notes
JPG output re-compresses at your chosen quality (a fresh generation, invisible at 90); PNG output is lossless. Transparent areas survive PNG and WebP, and flatten onto white for JPG.
Metadata (EXIF, GPS) is dropped in the re-encode. Up to 25 MB per file, 100 files per run; the rotation happens in this tab, on your device.
Frequently asked questions
Why do my photos rotate back?
That happens when only the viewer rotation changed. This tool rewrites the pixels, so every app sees the new orientation.
Can I flip without rotating?
Yes: choose "None" for rotation and pick a mirror. The image is only reflected.
Will the quality change?
Pixels are re-drawn losslessly into PNG, or re-compressed for JPG at your chosen quality. At 90 the difference is invisible.
Are my images uploaded?
No. The rotation runs entirely in your browser.
Private by design
